It’s a bit of a trek from the main parts of Delhi, but it’s where I’ve always been. The house is on a narrow street that gets pretty crowded during the day. I’ve been working from this address for a long time now. It’s not a fancy office, just a room I’ve set aside to handle my business. Najafgarh has a different pace than the rest of the city, more like a small town in some ways. I usually wake up early to beat the heat and get a head start on the work. There aren't any big signs or anything to show that there is a business here. Most people who need me already know where I am. I don't have a team of employees, just me doing the heavy lifting. I grew up in Dharampura, so I know everyone on the street. It’s a very local way of doing things. Sometimes it’s a bit messy with papers everywhere, but I know where everything is. I didn't want a corporate job in a glass building. I like being here where I can hear the sounds of the neighborhood. It is just a regular spot in Najafgarh where I spend my time working.
