Fredbi Fashions

Our spot is over at Wz-46 in Khampur, which is right across from the West Patel Nagar area of New Delhi. We have been working out of this building for a long while now. Most of our days are just spent managing fabric and keeping the machines running. It’s a pretty busy part of town, so there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. Finding the place can be a little tough because the lanes get crowded, but locals usually know where we are. We don't have fancy offices or big glass windows. It is just a practical space where we get the sewing done. You will see rolls of cloth stacked up against the walls and threads everywhere. The people working here have been with us for years. We aren't trying to do anything flashy; we just stick to making clothes. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just how things go here. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the work that needs finishing by evening. Fredbi Fashions is basically a small group of us doing what we know how to do. There is no corporate talk or big meetings. We just look at the orders and start cutting. It is a simple way to earn a living in a very busy city. If you ever stop by, you will likely find us right in the middle of a big project.
