F.C. Kapur & Co.

F.C. Kapur & Co. has been over here at 8/9, Punjabi Bagh Extension for quite some time. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first started. Our office feels like it’s stayed pretty much the same, though. It’s a grounded kind of place where we do our daily business without much fuss. We don’t have any slick marketing people or a fancy reception area. Instead, you’ll find a few desks and some old filing cabinets. The kettle is almost always on for tea. Our work involves a lot of regular clients. Most have been coming to us for years. A lot of the day is spent just catching up with people on the phone. Punjabi Bagh is a nice area, but the afternoon heat can make the office a bit sluggish, so we sometimes take a slightly longer break than we should. We handle our records the old-fashioned way for the most part, even if there is a computer in the corner for the things we can’t do by hand. The people working here are more like friends than coworkers. It makes the long hours go by a lot faster when you can joke around. We don’t make big promises or use fancy words to describe what we do. We just turn up, handle the paperwork, and make sure everything is right. Some days are quieter than others, but we like the pace.
