We are over in Uttam Nagar, specifically at Om Vihar Phase-5 in Roop Vihar. The address is Plot No. 43, though some people know it as New No. 43A on the top floor. Erect Manufacture And Garments Private Limited is our full name. It’s a bit of a mouthful. We’ve been operating out of this Uttam Nagar location for a good while. The top floor gets quite hot during the summer months, but we have some fans that help a bit. We focus on manufacturing garments. It’s a lot of manual labor. We have rows of machines and people working on different stages of the clothes. It’s noisy and there’s always lint in the air. We don't have a corporate office with fancy chairs. We use what we have. Most of our day is spent making sure the production line is moving. If a machine breaks, we try to fix it ourselves first. Roop Vihar is a busy neighborhood, so there’s always someone moving around outside. We started this because we wanted to run our own manufacturing unit. It’s tough work and the margins aren't huge, but it keeps us going. We handle the raw materials and the finished products right here. It’s a practical setup. We don't spend money on things we don't need. We just focus on getting the garments finished and out the door. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way.
