We started Emkay Knits And Knots Private Limited a while back and ended up setting up shop at CSP-1523 in DLF Capital Greens. If you know Shivaji Marg, you know how busy it gets around here. Our space isn't huge but it fits what we need for the knitting work. Most of our time is spent looking at different yarns and making sure the knots are tight. It’s a lot of manual work and sometimes your hands get tired by the end of the shift. We aren't trying to be some giant factory. We just like doing the work. The office usually has piles of samples everywhere. It might look messy to someone walking in, but we know where everything is kept. Shivaji Marg can be a nightmare with the traffic, especially when we are waiting for a delivery to arrive. We just sit and wait, maybe have some tea. That’s how it is. There’s a few of us here every day. We handle everything from the orders to the actual packing. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just wake up, come to the DLF complex, and get to work on the machines. Some days the machines act up and we have to spend hours fixing them. It’s frustrating but it’s part of the job. We've stayed in this spot because it works for us. It is a solid place to be.
