Our office is at U-15 in the basement of Green Park Extension. It is a bit of a walk from the main market, which is good because it’s a little quieter on this street. The entrance is tucked away and you might miss it if you are not looking for the small sign we put up. Inside, it is just a bunch of desks and some wires running along the floor for the computers. We tried to make it look a bit more professional with some paint, but you can still tell it’s an older basement. The ceiling is a bit low, so if you are tall, you have to be careful around the light fixtures. We get our tea from the guy at the end of the lane every morning. It’s a small team here, so we all know each other's business. Sometimes the air feels a bit still, so we keep the door open to get some breeze from the stairs. Green Park is a busy place, and there are always delivery bikes zooming past. We spend a lot of time staring at screens and trying to figure out technical issues. It’s not a glamorous spot, but it’s where we get our work done day in and day out. Sometimes the power goes out for a few minutes and we all just sit there waiting for the backup to kick in. It’s just how it goes working in this part of the city. We don’t have much room for visitors, but we manage.
