Nidhikalra

We are located at K-65 New Mahavir Nagar, right in the thick of things in New Delhi-18. Being so close to the Janakpuri District Centre means there’s never a quiet moment, which is both good and bad. Nidhikalra is the name on the papers, and this has been our home base for quite some time now. The building itself is a bit worn down, and the paint is peeling in a few spots around the window frames, but it’s got a lot of heart. We don't have fancy furniture or a modern layout. It’s mostly just mismatched chairs and some sturdy tables we found years ago. The traffic outside is constant, and you get used to the sound of horns and engines after a while. We spend our mornings sorting through whatever came in the day before and our afternoons trying to stay on top of the never-ending list of small tasks. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. There is no one here to do the cleaning or the tea-making except us, so we all chip in. We know the shopkeepers nearby, and we usually end up talking to them more than we probably should. It’s a busy neighborhood and being near Janakpuri means everything we need is just a short walk away. We like the convenience, even if the noise gets a bit much by the time evening rolls around. We just keep our heads down and work. It’s a squeeze when everyone is here, but we make it work.
