C'Sky Fashions

C'Sky Fashions is based over at A-1/18 in Chanakya Palace, right off Pankha Road. It’s a busy area, and the noise from the street usually carries right into our workspace. We have a lot of sewing machines and rolls of cloth taking up most of the room. It’s not a fancy boutique with mannequins in the window. It’s more of a workshop where we actually make things. There are threads all over the floor by the end of the day. We try to sweep up, but it’s a losing battle most of the time. We’ve been in Chanakya Palace for a few years now. The space is a bit cramped, but we make it work by stacking things high. We don't have a professional receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. We spend a lot of time checking patterns and making sure the machines are running right. Sometimes a needle breaks and we have to stop everything to fix it. It’s just part of the job. Pankha Road is always full of people, so there’s a lot of energy around us. We like being in the middle of it all. Our team is small, just a few of us who know how to handle the fabric. We don't have big meetings or anything corporate. We just talk over the sound of the machines and get the orders out. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. It's just a job, really.
