Our place is at A-1/14-B in Paschim Vihar. It’s tucked away a bit, so it’s not as noisy as the main road. Most days we arrive around ten and start by checking what needs to be sorted out from the previous evening. We have piles of different clothes in various shades, which is probably why the name fits, but mostly it’s just a lot of work keeping everything organized. The shelves are wooden and a bit creaky. We spend a good chunk of the afternoon just moving things around to make room for new stuff coming in. The stairs leading up are a little narrow, so carrying heavy bags up and down is a bit of a workout every day. We don't really have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. If someone asks for a specific blue, we usually know exactly which pile it’s buried under. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit and we just sit by the door where the natural light comes through. We drink a lot of tea from the stall across the street. It’s a simple routine, really. We fix the hangers, talk to the locals who wander in, and try to keep the place looking decent enough. It’s just a regular local shop where we put in the hours and go home when the sun goes down and we can finally lock up.
