Qamish Outfits

Qamish Outfits is based at L-29D in Chanakya Place- 2, which is part of the Uttam Nagar area. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of narrow lanes and people moving about constantly. Our workspace is filled with rolls of fabric, threads of every color you can imagine, and the steady sound of sewing machines running. It’s a bit crowded in here because we have so many outfits in different stages of being made, but we know where everything is. L-29D is our home base, and we spend a lot of our time cutting patterns or checking the stitching on new pieces. Being in Uttam Nagar means there is always a lot of energy outside, and we often have people stopping by the door to ask about what we are making. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s a real working space where things actually get made by hand. We have scraps of cloth on the floor and measuring tapes draped over our shoulders most of the day. The light isn't always the best, so we have some extra lamps to help us see the fine details of the work. We take pride in just getting the clothes right and making sure they look the way they should. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours, but seeing the finished outfits ready to go out makes it feel worth the effort.
