Ava Apparels is tucked away at Shop No. A-35/2 in the Mayapuri Industrial Area, Phase-1. If you've ever been to Mayapuri, you know it’s a lot of workshops and small factories all packed together. Our place is no different from the others around here. It’s a functional shop where we handle everything related to the clothes we make. It’s usually pretty loud outside with all the industrial activity and trucks, but we just close the door and get to work. We don't have a fancy entrance or big signs to grab attention. It’s just a practical space where we can cut, sew, and pack things up properly. We’ve been in Phase-1 for a long time now, and we know most of the other shop owners on this block. Our daily routine is pretty simple: we come in, check what needs to be done, and start working through the pile. Sometimes we’re here late if there's a lot to finish, and other times it’s a bit quieter. We aren't some big corporate entity; we’re just a small group of people trying to run a decent business. The space isn't huge, so we have to be careful about where we put everything so we don't trip over boxes of material. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just how it goes when you’re actually making things by hand. We just do our best to stay on top of it.
