Assentia Unisex Salon & Academy

Assentia Unisex Salon & Academy is situated at 12/ 9 in Chhoti Sabjee Mandi, Janakpuri. We are very close to Ganesh Bakery, so we often smell the bread while we are working. This place is a bit different because we also teach people how to do hair and beauty work. It is an academy as well as a salon. This means there are often students around watching or practicing. It makes the shop feel very energetic. Men and women both come here for their grooming. The mandi area is always packed with people and cars, so it can be a bit of a struggle to reach us sometimes, but people still make the trip. We keep everything very practical. We show the students how things happen in a real shop, not just what a book says. Our mirrors are large and we try to keep the place looking decent, though hair gets everywhere. It is never really quiet here because there is always a hairdryer going or someone is talking about a new style. We like the noise. It feels like a real place of work. If you want a haircut or if you want to learn the trade, we are here every day. Just look for the spot near the bakery in the middle of the market. We will be there with our scissors ready.
