We are located up on the second floor at No. 13 - D / 1 in Asalatpur. If you find the A-2 Gurudwara in Janakpuri, you just look right across from it and you’ll see where we are. Being on the second floor means we do a lot of climbing up and down those stairs every day. You can often hear the sounds from the Gurudwara drifting in through the windows, which is actually quite nice when the morning is quiet. The workspace is filled with the hum of sewing machines and people chatting over their work. We have big windows that let in some light, but it still feels like a tight squeeze when we have a lot of fabric rolls delivered. Janakpuri is a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside on the street. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist greeting people. It’s just us in our work clothes, trying to get the orders ready. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack things in the hallway for a bit. It’s a bit messy and the floor is always covered in loose threads, but that’s just how a fashion business looks when it’s actually running. We take our breaks when we can and usually send someone down to the street to get snacks for everyone. It’s a simple, hardworking atmosphere without any of that corporate stuff. We just do our best to stay organized.
