We don't have air conditioning, so we rely on the ceiling fans and the breeze coming through the open windows. It gets dusty during the dry season, so we spend a lot of time sweeping the corridors. We are just a group of people trying to run a school in a rural area. It’s not a polished place with shiny floors. It’s a place where kids come to learn their lessons and play in the dirt during their break. We have a small staff room where we keep our lunch boxes. People in East Champaran are straightforward, and we try to be the same. We just keep the doors open and do what needs to be done every day without much fuss. We enjoy the work and seeing them grow.
