Om Shree Public School

Om Shree Public School is right there in Ward No- 7 on the Main Road. We are part of the Semra Market area in Semra Medraul, which is out in West Champaran. Being near the market means it is always busy around here. You can hear the sounds of the shops and the people bargaining while the kids are in their classes. It is a lively spot to be in. The school itself is a simple building that blends in with the rest of the street. We have kids from the local neighborhood coming in every morning. Some of them walk from just a few houses away. We don't have a big playground or anything like that, but we make use of the space we have. Inside, the rooms are filled with benches and blackboards. It gets quite warm in the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and carry on. The parents around here are mostly working in the market or nearby fields, so they know us well. We talk to them at the gate when they pick up their children. West Champaran is a big area, but our little corner of Semra feels tight-knit. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure the kids have their books and pens ready. It is honest work, and we are just glad to be the local school for the families around Ward 7. We have been here a while and hope to stay.
