Locus Campus School

Locus Campus School is situated on the Bettaih Vamiki Nagar Road, right on NH-727. Being on a national highway means there are always trucks and buses rushing past the front of the school. It’s a well-known spot in Bettiah with the 845438 pin code. The school occupies a good amount of space along the road. The building is large and has many rooms for the different grades. In the morning, the school buses pull in and the whole place comes alive. The classrooms have high ceilings and the furniture is the usual wooden type you find in Bihar schools. It’s a practical place, not a luxury one. We have a lot of students coming from the surrounding rural areas and the town itself. The teachers have a lot of work to do with such big classes. You can see the dust from the highway settling on the windows, so we have to clean them often. There is a playground where the kids spend their time during recess, and it’s usually quite loud then. We don’t have any fancy mission statements; we just show up and do the teaching. The office handles all the admissions and fees in a very traditional way with big paper ledgers. It’s a busy, functional campus that is a big part of the Bettiah landscape along the NH-727 road. Many people pass by it every single day on their way to work.
