Vidya Mission School

Out here at Mishrouli Chowk in Bagaha 2, things move at their own pace. Vidya Mission School is right in the middle of it all. If you have ever been to West Champaran, you know the roads can be a bit dusty and the weather gets really hot in the summer. We are just a local school trying to provide a place for the kids from the nearby villages to sit and study. The building is basic, nothing too loud or flashy. Most of our mornings start with the sound of kids arriving on bicycles or walking from Sith. We spend a lot of time just managing the classrooms and making sure everyone has what they need for the day. It is not always easy keeping everything running smoothly in this part of Bihar, but we do what we can. Sometimes the electricity goes out, or the rain makes the playground a bit of a mess, but we just deal with it. The teachers here are local folks who know the families around Bagaha. We do not have any big speeches or fancy posters on the walls. It is just about getting through the lessons and making sure the students learn their basics. We have been at this location for a while now. People know where to find us near the chowk. It is a practical place where the main goal is just to keep the school open and the kids busy with their books.
