Ward No. 1 is where we stay busy every day. Akola Road has a lot of trucks passing by all the time, so there is always noise and movement around the yard. We spend most of our hours outside checking the stock and helping people load up. It gets quite dusty out here, but that is just how it is in Mangrulpir. They know exactly where every pile of gravel and stack of tiles is located. We do not have a big fancy office with air conditioning. It is just a small desk, some old ledgers, and a phone that rings quite a bit. People come by to ask for prices or sometimes they just want to chat about what is happening in the local area. We keep things very simple. If we have the material in stock, we load it up for you. If we are out of it, we tell you exactly when the next truck is coming. It is not a complicated way to run things, but it keeps us on our feet. We focus on the basic supplies that people actually need for their homes and shops. We have seen the town change a bit over time, but we just keep doing our part on Akola Road.
