About Balaji Concrete – Building & Construction Material in Washim
We have our yard set up at Plot No.118 in Chivara, which is right near the police station. It’s a good landmark for people who haven't visited us before because the station is hard to miss. We spend most of our time dealing with concrete and trucks. It gets quite dusty around here, especially when the wind picks up, so we are always cleaning off the equipment. The business isn't anything fancy. It’s just a place where we get the work done. I’ve been running things here for a while now with a small crew. We have a few guys who have been with us since the start. Some days are long, especially when we have several pours scheduled at once. My back usually feels it by the time evening rolls around. We don't have a big office or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll likely find me near the gate or back by the mixers. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years with new shops coming in. We just keep our heads down and focus on the orders. It’s not always perfect and sometimes the weather makes the ground too muddy for the trucks to move easily. That’s just the way it goes in this line of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest outfit around, just a steady one that people can find when they need some concrete for a project. It's a simple life out here.
