Sri Shiva Keshava Lorry Transport

If you go to H. No. 3-3 in Bairanpally village, you will find our setup. We are in the Hasanparthy mandal. We deal with lorry transport every day. It started with just one old truck many years ago. Now we have a few more but it’s still the same basic hard work. We move heavy stuff mostly like construction materials, stones, or grains depending on the season. The yard around the house is usually full of spare parts, old tires, and oil drums. My hands are almost always black from working on the engines in the evenings. We don't have any office staff or assistants. My wife helps with some of the bookkeeping and I handle the drivers and the customers who call in. Bairanpally is a good spot because we can get onto the main highway roads pretty quickly. The traffic around the Hasanparthy area can be a nightmare during the middle of the day, so we often start our trips very early in the morning. It’s a tiring life with very little sleep, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't have any big advertisements or billboards. People just know us by the name Sri Shiva Keshava. We take care of our lorries because they are the only way we make our living. If a truck isn't moving on the road, we aren't earning anything for the family. We just keep going one day at a time.
