Sandhya Transport

Sandhya Transport is based in Theegarajupally, which is part of the Sangem area. Our main office is actually just a part of the house at 3-26/1. It’s a family-run sort of thing. We’ve lived in this area for a long time, so we know every shortcut and bumpy road around here. Transporting goods is what we know. It isn’t always glamorous or exciting. A lot of the time, it involves waiting around for loads or dealing with mechanical issues with the trucks. We have a couple of vehicles that we keep running as best as we can. When a driver calls out sick, one of us has to jump in and take the wheel ourselves. That’s just the way it goes when you run your own small business in a place like this. We don't have any big slogans or fancy brochures. People in Sangem just know that if they need something hauled, they can come to our front door. We’ve built a bit of a reputation just by showing up and doing what we said we’d do for them. The yard can get a bit noisy when the engines are warming up early in the morning, but the neighbors are used to it by now. We spend a lot of time on our phones coordinating with different people. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of driving. We keep our records in a simple notebook mostly. It’s a straightforward life, and we like being our own bosses.
