Kousalya Transport

Kousalya Transport is based at H. No. 10-118 in Jawahar Nagar. We’ve been around the Machchapur and Venkatapur area for quite some time now. Our day usually starts before the sun is even up, checking the oil and making sure the vehicles are ready for the road. It’s mostly local transport, moving whatever needs moving for the people around here. The neighborhood in Jawahar Nagar is pretty tight-knit, so everyone knows when we’re heading out because of the engine noise. We have a small shed where we keep some spare parts and tools for quick fixes. It’s not a glamorous job, sitting in a cab for hours, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the traffic is a nightmare and other times the roads are completely empty. We don't use any high-tech tracking, just a lot of phone calls back and forth to stay updated. My brother and I take turns with the driving and the paperwork. We keep our old notebooks filled with dates and locations, which is our way of keeping track of things. It’s honest work that involves a lot of sweat and patience. We just focus on getting from point A to point B safely. There’s always something that needs fixing or a customer waiting, so there’s never really a dull moment around here for any of us.
