Out here in Gotlakonda, things move at their own pace. We run our transport business from Dhudya Thanda. Mostly it’s about moving goods from one place to another using the trucks we have parked in the yard. The roads around here can be a bit rough depending on the season, especially when the heavy rains hit this part of the country. We know the routes around here like the back of our hands. My drivers are local guys who don't mind the long hours behind the wheel. We deal with all sorts of loads, sometimes it’s construction stuff and other times it’s farm produce heading to the bigger markets. The office isn't much to look at, just a place to keep the logs and take calls. We spend more time outside or near the vehicles anyway. Maintenance takes up a lot of our time because these trucks work hard every single day. You can usually find someone under a chassis with a wrench most mornings. It’s a family-style setup, honestly. If a truck breaks down at midnight, someone is going out to help. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us, the trucks, and the dust of Dhudya Thanda. We’ve been doing this for a good while and people around the village know they can find us if they have something heavy that needs moving. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from sunrise to late evening. We try to keep the tires good.
