Blessy Travels

We are over here at 7-11 in Gorrekunta. Most people around Geesugonda know the spot. It is just a small place for Blessy Travels. My brother and I started this because we saw folks needing rides to the city or just around the village. It isn't anything fancy, just a desk and some chairs where we sit and wait for the phone to ring. Sometimes the network is bad, so people just walk in. We keep the vehicles clean when we can, though the dust from the road makes it hard. The mornings are usually the busiest time. We drink tea from the stall nearby while checking the tires. It's been a few years now. We know most of the families around here. If someone has a wedding or needs to get to the hospital, they come to 7-11. We don't have a big website or anything like that. Just this little office. The rains make the road a bit messy, but we still manage to get out. Most days it’s just us talking to neighbors and making sure the drivers are ready. We like living here in Geesugonda. It’s quiet mostly. We try to be fair with everyone who walks through the door. Sometimes the cars need repairs, so we spend time at the mechanic. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us busy. We just do what we can every day to keep things moving along for the people who need us.
