Avr Travels

I started Avr Travels from my home at H. No. 4-145 in Lachiya Naik Thanda. Mallampally isn't a huge place, so word travels fast. We have a few cars and vans that we use for trips. Most of my day is spent either driving or making sure the vehicles are clean and have enough petrol. Early mornings are the hardest. Sometimes I have to be up at 3:00 AM to pick someone up for a long journey. It’s quiet in the Thanda at that hour. Palakurthy is a nice area, but the roads can be rough in spots. I know every pothole by now. We don't have a big office with a secretary. If you call, you get me on my mobile. It’s a simple way to run things. My wife helps with the bookings and keeps the logbooks straight. We aren't a big city taxi company. We treat people like neighbors because they usually are. Sometimes the cars need repairs, and I spend my afternoon under the hood with a wrench. It’s honest work. I like being on the road and seeing the countryside. It beats sitting in an office all day. We just try to get people where they need to go without any fuss. If the car is running well and the weather is good, it’s a decent life. We just take it one trip at a time.
