Ravinder Travels

Station Ghanpur is where we are based, specifically at house number 10-96/2. It’s a busy little spot because of the station nearby. I started Ravinder Travels because people always need a way to get around, whether it’s for a wedding or just getting to the next town. I keep my logs in a messy notebook on my desk. Most of the time, the phones are ringing and I'm trying to figure out which driver is where. It’s a lot of juggling schedules and hoping the tires don't go flat on the rough roads around here. The village life is good, but it keeps you on your toes. I spend a lot of my day standing out by the vehicles or checking the oil. My hands are usually a bit greasy. We don't have a big fancy waiting room for customers. Most people just stand in the shade of the tree out front while we get the keys ready. It’s a simple business. I’ve known most of the people around Ghanpur since I was a kid, so there is a lot of trust. If a car is running late, I just call them up and explain. People understand because things happen. Sometimes the heat is so bad we all just sit under the fan for an hour doing nothing. We just try to get people where they need to go without too much fuss. It is hard work but it belongs to us.
