Khadar Baba Internet

Khadar Baba Internet is a small shop in Madigudem. We have about four computers and a printer that jams once in a while when it gets too hot. Most people come here to fill out government forms or print school projects for their kids. It’s located at H. No -1-69 in Kothaguda. I started this because the mobile signal isn't always great for downloading big files in this part of town. It’s not a gaming center or anything like that. Just a place for serious work. I usually sit at the front desk and my brother helps out in the evenings after he finishes his other job. We sell some pens and notebooks too. The room is small and can get a bit stuffy when all the machines are running, but we have a ceiling fan that works okay most of the time. We don't have a big fancy sign outside. People just know where we are by word of mouth. Sometimes the power goes out suddenly and we all have to sit and wait in the dark. That’s just how it is here. I try to help the older folks who don't know how to use the mouse or the keyboard properly. It takes some patience. We’ve been here for a couple of years now and it's become a bit of a meeting spot. It's not a big business, just a way to help out the village stay connected to things. We close up around eight usually.
