Dharmaiah runs this auto service shop out of House Number 1/55 in Madagudem. We've been fixing bikes and the occasional small car for the folks around Kothagudem for a long time. It’s a simple place with a dirt floor in some parts and plenty of oil stains everywhere. That’s just how a real mechanic’s shop looks. We don't have those computerized machines to tell us what is wrong; we just listen to the engine and figure it out. Most of the time it’s just a clogged filter or something loose that needs tightening up. We see a lot of the same faces coming back because we live right here in the community. Madagudem is small, so word travels fast if you do a bad job, which is why we take our time. Sometimes we sit and have tea with the customers while they wait for their oil to be changed. It's not a fast-paced city garage where they rush you out. We work at our own pace and try to fix things so they stay fixed. The tools are old but they still work just fine for what we need. If your vehicle is making a funny sound, just bring it over to 1/55 and we will take a look. We’re usually there from early morning until it gets too dark to see the bolts. Kothagudem gets dusty, so there's always a lot of cleaning to do on the engines.
