Down here in Chinna Yellapur, we run this little auto service spot at H.No 5-100/51. It is mostly me and a couple of guys who know their way around an engine. We get all sorts of vehicles coming through Gudur, mostly cars that have seen better days or bikes that need a bit of tuning up. The floor is always covered in some kind of oil spill even though we try to sweep it up every evening. It’s a busy road so we hear the horns honking all day long while we are under a hood. Sometimes we run out of a specific part and have to wait for the delivery guy to bring it from the city, which can be a bit of a headache for the customers. We don't really have a waiting room so people just hang out on the bench outside and talk while we work. I’ve lived around here my whole life so I know most of the people who bring their trucks in. It’s not a clean job and my clothes are always stained with black marks that never come out in the wash. We just take it one car at a time and try to see what the problem is without making it too complicated. It’s just a regular garage doing regular repairs for the folks in this part of town. We don't have any big advertisements, just the word of mouth from people who have been coming here for years.
