If you are looking for us, we are over at H. No -1-96/2 in Laknepallei. Rajitha Auto Services has been sitting on this same spot for a good while, and most of the folks around here know where to find the shop. It is usually pretty greasy and loud, which is how a garage should be, I guess. We spend most of our time under cars or leaning over engines with a wrench in hand. It isn't always pretty work, and our clothes definitely show it by the end of the day. We deal with whatever comes through the door, whether it’s a weird noise in a motor or just something that needs a quick look. Laknepallei is a small enough place that we see the same faces pretty often. We don’t go in for anything flashy. The floor is concrete, the tools are old but they work, and there is usually a pot of tea sitting somewhere. Sometimes parts take a day or two to get here, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else. It’s just a regular shop where we try to get things running again so people can get back to their work. We’ve had some long days when a job turns out harder than it looked at first, but that’s just how it goes with mechanics. We stay until the work is done. It gets dark early in the winter but the light in the shop is bright enough.
