Ankus Auto Services

Ankus Auto Services is my small repair shop located at H. No -4-22 in Upparapally, Channaraopet. I’ve set up the workspace right near my home so I can be available whenever someone has a breakdown. I mostly focus on two-wheelers since that is what most people drive around here. The shop is filled with the smell of petrol and grease, which is something I’ve gotten used to over the years. I have a basic set of wrenches and a compressor that I use every day. It’s not a shiny service center like you see in the cities. It’s just a practical place to get a puncture fixed or an engine tuned up. Sometimes the yard gets full of old frames and spare parts that I keep just in case someone needs a cheap replacement. Upparapally is a quiet village, but the road gets some traffic, so I stay fairly busy. I do all the repairs myself, so it might take a little longer if I have three bikes lined up. I don’t follow a strict corporate schedule; if a neighbor needs help late in the evening, I usually open up the shop for them. It’s a simple way to live and work. I don't bother with advertising or anything like that. People just know where I am and what I can do. It's just me and my tools, trying to keep the local bikes on the road. I usually have tea in the afternoon while waiting for the next job.
