We started Gurla Dairy Producer Company Limited because people in the Aguruveedhi area of Nellimarla needed a better way to handle their milk. It is mostly just us local folks coming together. The office is right here at 25-51. Every morning and evening, there is a lot of activity with the containers and the farmers coming in from nearby spots in Vizianagaram. We deal with fresh dairy every single day, so there is not much time for sitting around. It is hard work keeping everything running, especially when the weather gets hot or the trucks are late. We mostly focus on making sure the milk from our cows gets to where it needs to go without too much fuss. Being a producer company means we are owned by the people doing the work, which feels right for a place like this. Some days are stressful when the equipment acts up, but we manage to get through it. People know where to find us if they have questions or just want to see how things are going. We have been part of the Andhra Pradesh farming scene for a while now and we just take it one day at a time. It is not some big corporate setup, just a bunch of neighbors trying to make a living from their cattle and keeping the local supply steady. We try to keep things simple and honest in everything we do here.
