St. Kabir Indian International School

St. Kabir Indian International School is located out at Plot No. 80 in the Chapad area. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it’s worth it because there is a lot of open space and fresh air compared to the middle of town. We are right near the Vspca, which is the animal shelter, so sometimes you can hear the animals from across the way. The plot is quite large, and we have spent a lot of time getting it set up so that there is plenty of room for everyone. We have several buildings on the property for the different classes. It’s not like those schools that are tucked into narrow city streets; we actually have ground to walk on here. The sun can be quite strong in Chapad, so we have tried to plant some trees, though they are still a bit small. Our offices are near the front entrance of Plot 80. Inside, it’s usually a bit of a mess with papers, school schedules, and various bits of equipment lying around. We are constantly moving things from one room to another. It’s a very active place, especially during the middle of the day. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, just the stuff the kids have made and the usual notices. It’s a practical place where we focus on getting through the school year and making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.
