Sri Ramakrishna Engineering Company

Our shop is located in the Daba Garden area, specifically at Shop No 7 on the Jila Mahal Theater Road. We’ve been operating as Sri Ramakrishna Engineering Company from this Dr. No. 31-33-1/16 address for quite a while now. It’s a busy street, especially with the theater nearby, so there’s always people walking past the window. We handle engineering parts and basic repairs. The front of the shop is usually filled with various components and tools we’re working on. It’s not the cleanest place, but that’s because we’re actually working with our hands all day. We have a few workbenches in the back where the real repairs happen. Our customers are mostly local mechanics or people who have something broken that needs a specific part. We don't use big words or try to sell you things you don't need. If we can fix it, we tell you. If we can’t, we’ll say that too. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. The heat in Daba Garden can get pretty intense in the summer, so we have a couple of old fans going all day. We know our trade well, and we’ve picked up a lot of experience over the years just by seeing different mechanical problems every day. It’s a steady life here in the shop. We don't plan on moving anywhere else as this spot has served us well and the locals know us by sight.
