Down here in Yellamanchilli, things move at their own pace. Sunil Hi-Tech Engineers Limited is situated in C.P.Peta. This is the Visakhapatnam district, so we’re a bit away from the main city buzz. Our setup is at S/O Sankara Rao’s place. It’s a local operation, very much tied to the community here. We do engineering work, mostly focusing on whatever the current contract requires. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us. The weather can be quite humid, being so close to the coast, but we’re used to it. We start the day by checking the messages and seeing what needs our attention first. There’s a lot of talk about projects and parts. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit. We’re usually in practical clothes because the work can get a bit dusty. People in C.P.Peta know us by name. It’s a small-town atmosphere where your reputation is just based on if you do what you said you’d do. We try to be honest about how long things will take. Sometimes parts are delayed or the weather stops us, but we stay at it. It’s a modest way of doing things, but it works for us. We’ve been part of the Andhra Pradesh engineering scene for a while, just doing our bit. There is always something to be sorted out, so we don't have much time for sitting around doing nothing. We just keep busy.
