Sree Srinivasa Rubber & Tyre Works

You can find us at C-10/1 in the A.P.I.E. section of Autonagar. Sree Srinivasa Rubber & Tyre Works has been based here for quite some time, right in the middle of all the other industrial shops. It’s a bit of a messy place, to be honest. There are stacks of old tyres and scraps of rubber everywhere you look. We deal with all sorts of rubber work, mostly fixing up tyres or making parts for machines that need them. Autonagar is always loud with engines and people moving stuff around, and our shop is no different. We spend our days covered in grease and black dust from the rubber, but that’s the job. It’s a practical business. People bring in worn-out stuff and we see if we can get a bit more life out of it. We don't have a front desk or a waiting room with a TV. Usually, customers just stand around the shop floor while we talk about what needs to be fixed. Our tools are old but they work fine for what we do. The heat in the workshop can get pretty intense during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and keep working. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we’ve gotten to know a lot of the other shop owners around A.P.I.E. over the years. We just stay focused on the rubber and the tyres.
