ADVANCED BIOTECH RESEARCH PROJECTS

Our work happens over at 9-19-51 in the Cbm Compound. It is a bit of an older area, but it suits us just fine for the kind of research projects we handle. Advanced Biotech Research Projects isn't a place with glass walls and high-tech lounges; it’s more about the labs and the benches where the actual work gets done. We spend a lot of our time looking through microscopes or keeping track of various samples we are testing. The compound itself has a lot of history, and you can see it in the way the buildings are laid out. We have a few different rooms dedicated to different parts of the biotech work, and things can get a bit cramped when we have multiple projects running at once. The lighting isn't always the best, so we have a lot of extra desk lamps scattered around. It is a quiet environment because research requires a lot of concentration, though you might hear the hum of a refrigerator or some lab equipment in the background. We usually bring our own lunches and eat together in the small break area near the back door. It is a simple setup, but it’s where we feel most comfortable. We have been part of the Cbm Compound for quite some time, and we have gotten to know the other people working in the nearby units pretty well. It is a solid place to work, even if the floors are a bit uneven.
