Akrivia Automation Pvt Ltd is situated over at 10-5-2/1 in the Ramnagar area of Visakhapatnam. If you know the neighborhood, you know it’s a mix of homes and small businesses, which makes it feel a bit more grounded than some of those giant tech parks. We spend our time working on automation systems and technical setups that help businesses run their operations without a lot of manual back-and-forth. The office itself is pretty straightforward. We have a few rows of desks, some computers, and a lot of whiteboards that are usually covered in scribbles and diagrams. It can get a bit humid here in Vizag, so the air conditioning is probably the most important thing in the building during the summer months. Most of the staff live nearby, so there’s a local feel to the place. We don’t really go for that polished corporate look; we’d rather just have a comfortable space where we can focus on the coding and the technical problems we need to solve. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which gives everyone a chance to step away from their screens for a minute. It’s a busy life, but it’s honest work. We take our lunches at the local spots around Ramnagar, and most of us have been working together long enough that it feels like a regular community.
