Southern Information Services (P) Ltd, Visakhapatnam

Southern Information Services (P) Ltd is right here in Visakhapatnam, sitting across from Port Lane in the Srinagar area. It’s not a fancy glass building or anything like that, just a regular house numbered 24/59/C where we get our work done every day. The humidity in Vizag can be a lot sometimes, so the AC in the office is usually running full blast, though it makes a bit of a rattling noise. Most of us have been working here for quite a while now. We know the tea stall guy around the corner by name, and he knows exactly how much sugar everyone likes in their morning cup. Srinagar is a busy part of town, so there’s always something happening outside the windows. You can hear the sounds of the traffic and the people heading toward the port area. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and stacks of paper that we try to keep organized but usually fail by Wednesday afternoon. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with our lists and data to really worry about the aesthetics of the place. It’s a practical setup. We show up, sit at our spots, and deal with whatever information needs processing that day. It’s a local operation, and we like the fact that we can walk to get lunch nearby without much fuss. The parking is a bit tight on our street, so most of us just park our scooters wherever they fit.
