Vedant Balloons World

We are set up in Ram Nagar, right across from Care Hospital at Door No 10-53-34. It’s a pretty busy spot in Visakhapatnam. Our shop is usually full of half-filled tanks and bags of different colored balloons. It’s a bit of a messy business, but we like it. We spend most of our time blowing things up and tying strings. It sounds simple but when you have to do hundreds of them, your fingers really start to feel it by the end of the day. We get all kinds of people dropping by, some looking for something small and others needing enough to fill a whole hall. We don’t have a big polished showroom or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get things ready. Sometimes we are out at a site until late at night, trying to get an archway to stay up or making sure the decorations look right. You learn a lot about tape and string in this job. Being in Ram Nagar means we are pretty central, so we’re always running around the city. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just provide what people ask for and try to make sure nothing pops before it’s supposed to. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our feet. Some days the shop is quiet and we just organize the stock, and other days it’s a total scramble to get an order out. That is just how it goes here.
