Shine Tutorials

We’ve been running Shine Tutorials over at Ambica Residency for a good bit now. It’s right there at Collectrate Junction, so most people know where we are. It started because a few of us realized kids in Visakhapatnam needed a quiet place to actually sit down and get through their homework without too much fuss. We aren't doing anything fancy here. It's just a bunch of rooms with tables and chairs where students come after school. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when everyone is talking at once, but that’s just how it goes with teaching. We spend most of our mornings getting the materials ready and then the afternoons are just back-to-back classes. The building itself is okay, nothing special, but it stays cool enough in the summer. We’ve seen a lot of faces pass through these doors over the years. Some kids stay for a month, others stick around until they graduate. We don't have a huge staff or anything, just a few people who know their subjects and like helping out. It’s a busy spot, especially around exam time when everyone starts panicking a bit. We try to keep things grounded. Usually, you’ll find one of us sitting by the front desk if you walk in. It's just a local place doing what we can to help the neighborhood kids get their grades up. Nothing more, nothing less. It feels like home.
