Viswateja School

In the Thatichetlapalem area of Visakhapatnam, you will find Viswateja School at Door No 44-18-39. It is a busy part of the city, and the school fits right into the mix of houses and small shops. We have been here for several years now. The building is painted a simple color and has a few floors connected by a concrete staircase that gets a lot of use every day. Every morning, the street outside gets packed with parents dropping off their children before they head to work. We do not have a grand entrance or a long driveway. You just step off the street and you are at the front desk. Our classrooms are not very large, but we make sure every student has a place to sit. The fans hum all day long to keep the Vizag humidity at bay. We do not really do much in the way of fancy events or big celebrations. We mostly just stick to the books and the daily schedule. The staff here is mostly local people who have been teaching for a long time. We know the shopkeepers nearby and the people living in the surrounding apartments. It is a very grounded, practical place to go to school. We do not pretend to be anything we are not. We just provide a place for kids in this part of the city to come and study.
