Oakridge International School

If you're driving along NH 5 Road, you’ll find us tucked away behind the HP petrol bunk in Maharajpeta. That’s where Oakridge International School is located. It might seem like an odd spot at first, being right behind a gas station, but it’s actually quite tucked away from the main noise of the road. The building is fairly large, but we still feel like a very local operation. We have been here for a good amount of time now. The people working here come from all over the surrounding area. We don't spend a lot of time on corporate branding or things like that. We are more concerned with making sure the roofs don't leak when it rains and the students have what they need for their classes. The classrooms are decent enough, nothing over the top or too flashy. You’ll often see us out in the yard or near the petrol bunk during our lunch breaks. It’s a busy road out there, so we always have to be careful with the traffic when the kids are leaving. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a school where we try to get things done every day. Sometimes the internet connection is slow or the water pump acts up, and we just have to fix it and move on with our day. That is just life in Maharajpeta for us. We just keep showing up and doing the work that needs to be done.
