Oakridge International School

Our place is right on the Main Road in Asilmetta. It's a very recognizable spot for anyone living in Visakhapatnam. The building has been here quite a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. We handle a lot of students every day, so the hallways are rarely silent. We have the usual setup with classrooms, a few labs, and some space for the staff to sit during their breaks. It's a bit of a rush in the mornings when the buses arrive, but once the first bell rings, things settle down into a routine. We don't go for anything too flashy; the focus is mostly on making sure the desks are clean and the chalk is ready. Our day-to-day involves checking attendance, grading papers, and making sure the kids aren't running too fast in the corridors. The office is usually busy with paperwork and parents asking about fees or holidays. Since we’re on a main road, we have to keep the gates closed to keep the dust out as much as possible. It’s a solid building that has seen plenty of students come and go. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just open up in the morning, teach the classes, and head home when the sun starts to go down. It’s a busy, practical school life for all of us here.
