Ntpc Hospital

We are located in Deepanjali Nagar in the Parawada area. It is basically a company township, so the hospital is a big part of the local life here. Most of our patients are the workers and their families who live in the colony. You walk out the door and you see the same people you were talking to in the morning. Deepanjali Nagar is a quiet place for the most part, with lots of trees and paved roads. The hospital building itself is easy to find if you are in the neighborhood. We have different departments, but everything is relatively close together. We don't have the huge crowds you might see in a big city hospital, which is nice. It allows us to move at a slightly different pace, though we still stay busy. Sometimes the equipment acts up or we have to wait for supplies to come in from the city, but we manage. The staff rooms are where we spend our breaks, usually drinking tea and talking about local news. Being an Ntpc Hospital means we follow certain rules, but it still feels like a neighborhood place. People come in with small injuries from work or just the usual colds and fevers. We know most of the kids who come in by their first names. It is a community thing. We keep the floors mopped and the lights on, waiting for whoever needs us. It is just what we do here in Deepanjali Nagar. (251 words)
