Maa Sarada Junior College

Located at Door No 45-57-24 in the Narasimha Nagar part of Akkayyapalem, our college has been a part of this Visakhapatnam neighborhood for a while. We are a junior college, so our rooms are usually full of students in those middle years of their education. The streets outside in Akkayyapalem can get pretty crowded, especially during the morning rush. Our building is functional and doesn't have much in the way of extra frills. It’s mostly just rows of classrooms and a small office area where we keep the records. The students come here from all over the city, but many live just a short walk away. We have fans in every room to help with the Vizag heat, though it still gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons. The staff room is always a mess of papers and textbooks because there is always something to grade. We don't have a big lawn or anything, just the building where the work gets done. You can see students standing in groups near the entrance during their breaks, talking about their upcoming tests or just chatting. It’s a place where people come to study and move on to the next step in their lives. We try to keep the schedules on time, but sometimes things run a bit late. It’s a very normal, local college environment where the focus is on the daily classes and making sure the students are prepared for their finals.
