About M A V P Junior College – Education in Visakhapatnam
You can find us right across from the Anjaneya Swamy Temple on the main road in Gajuwaka. It gets pretty loud out there with all the traffic and the bells from the temple, but you get used to it after a week or so. Being in Visakhapatnam, the humidity is something we just deal with every day. The college is usually full of students rushing around trying to get to their classes on time. We spend a lot of our morning just managing the crowd at the entrance. The building itself is older, and we’re constantly fixing something or moving desks around to make more room. There’s always a bit of a queue at the office window with people asking about hall tickets or fees. Gajuwaka is a busy area, so there is never a dull moment. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to open all the windows to catch whatever breeze comes off the coast. It’s a lot of paperwork and routine, but it keeps us on our toes. The staff room is usually a bit messy with books and tea cups. We don’t have any big corporate setup here, just local people working and students trying to finish their intermediate years. It feels like a small community inside a very noisy city. Everyone knows the shopkeepers nearby and where to get the best snacks during the lunch hour. It's a hectic place but it has a rhythm that we've all come to understand over the years.
