We run Kvk Home Tutions from the area around Visakhapatnam Airport. It’s basically a one-stop place where we try to match local kids with teachers who can come to their homes. Finding the right fit is the hardest part of the job. You have to find someone who knows the subject but also gets along with the student. We’ve been doing this in the 530009 area for a while, so we know most of the shortcuts and neighborhoods. It’s not a fancy business. Most of our day is spent on the phone talking to parents or checking in with our tutors to see if they made it to their appointments. The traffic near the airport can be a real pain, especially in the evenings, which is when most classes happen. We don’t promise any miracles, we just try to help kids get through their syllabus without too much stress. Sometimes a tutor leaves or a student changes their mind, and we have to start the matching process all over again. It keeps us busy. We try to be honest with parents about what a child can achieve in a few hours a week. It’s a practical service for busy families who can't always drive their kids to a coaching center. We just keep things moving and try to help where we can in our little corner of Vizag, nothing more.
