Kkms Tutions is situated out by the Visakhapatnam Airport. It’s in the 530009 zip code area, which is a bit of a distance from the main city center. You can hear the planes taking off and landing pretty clearly from our windows. It becomes part of the background noise after you’ve been here for an hour. The tuition center isn’t anything special to look at from the outside. It’s just a regular building where we’ve set up some tables and chairs for the local kids. Most of our students live in the housing colonies nearby. They walk over or ride their cycles after their school day ends. We spend the evenings going over math problems and science chapters. It gets a bit humid here in Vizag, so we usually have the fans on full blast. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. There are some charts on the walls about grammar and periodic tables, but that’s about it. The lighting is just standard tube lights that flick on as the sun goes down. We stay until about eight or nine at night, depending on how much work the kids have brought with them. It’s a small operation, really. Just a place where students can come to get their doubts cleared without the pressure of a big classroom. We keep things simple and just focus on the books they bring from school while checking their progress.
