Hari Chandana Engineering

You can find our workshop at Plot No. C-9/B in the B-Block of the Apie industrial estate in Autonagar. This whole area is dedicated to workshops and manufacturing, so the air is always filled with the smell of oil and the sound of machines running. We do a variety of engineering work, which means we are usually busy with lathes, milling machines, and welding tools. The floor of our plot is often covered in metal shavings and some oil spills, despite our efforts to keep it somewhat tidy. It is a place for hard work, not for keeping your clothes clean. The tin roof of the shed makes it quite hot in the middle of the day, so we rely on some old pedestal fans to keep the air moving. We do not have a marketing department or any fancy advertisements. Most of the people we work for are other business owners from around Autonagar who need specific parts made or repaired. We usually spend our lunch break sitting on some wooden crates, eating whatever we brought from home. It is a very practical environment. We focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the machines are in good shape. There is no corporate talk here; we just discuss the jobs we have and get them finished. When the sun starts to set over the industrial estate, we clean our tools and get ready for the next day.
